Amritsar, Oct. 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir is set to get a special platform at the 20th Punjab International Trade Expo (PITEX)-2026, scheduled to be held from December 3 to 7. A delegation of women entrepreneurs from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) met lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha to discuss the participation of J&K in the expo. The delegation was led by Himani Arora, chair, Regional Fashion Tex Tech Forum, PHDCCI Punjab. During the meeting, a proposal was made to organise a dedicated 'J&K Day' at PITEX, bringing J&K's business, investment, exports, handicrafts, cuisine, tourism and culture together on a single platform for the business community and investors from across the country. The proposed 'J&K Day' will feature a business and investment session, industry-buyer-seller roundtable and tourism and investment presentation. Live demonstrations by artisans, a showcase of traditional J&K cuisine and cultural performances are also proposed, along with a special 'J&K cultural evening'....
