Ludhiana, May 15 -- The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 was organised at Mount International School, Ludhiana with great enthusiasm and dignity, aiming to nurture leadership, responsibility, and collaboration among students. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Junior and Senior Student Council. The chief guest, Lt Col Sandeep Juneja, officer commanding, was warmly received and ceremoniously escorted to the venue. He was felicitated by the principal as a mark of respect and appreciation. The programme commenced on a spiritual note with a soulful Shabad, followed by vibrant and captivating cultural performances presented by the students. The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of badges and sashes to the newly appointed council members, symbolising the transfer of responsibilities. Kavanbir Singh was appointed as the head boy and Rashmeek Benipal as the head girl. The deputy head boy, deputy head girl, school house captains, and other council members were also honoured with their respective positions.
