Chandigarh, Aug. 13 -- NSS volunteers from different schools of Chandigarh, participated in International Youth Day on August 12 with great enthusiasm and participation by NSS volunteers and young students in the mini auditorium of GGDSD College, Sector 32C, Chandigarh. The theme for 2026, "Different contexts, common aspirations," highlights that despite diverse local realities, young people share common aspirations for dignity, inclusion and sustainable development. The programme was attended by guests Dr. Preeti Trikha, PGIMER, along with Rohit Sharma, national awardee; Dr. Nemi Chand, state liaison officer; Tina Virk, president, Chandigarh Rotary Club; and Kanwar Rana, Parshad, Municipal Corporation.
