New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- India will host BRICS Environment Working Group meetings in the national capital from August 17 to 18 at Bharat Mandapam under the overarching theme India's 2026 chairship, 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability', the environment ministry said on Sunday. The ministry said BRICS Senior Officers' Meeting of the Environment Working Group and Contact Group on Climate Change and Sustainable Development will hold meetings on Monday, while Tuesday will see Delhi hosting 12th BRICS Environment Ministers' Meeting. BRICS Environment Ministers' Meet will be presided over by Union environment minister Bhupender Yadav and aims to provide a platform for ministers, officers, policymakers and experts from member countries to engage in substantive discussions. htc...
