India, July 6 -- City residents are likely to see more spells of rain this week, beginning Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. A fresh western disturbance will affect the region this week. The monsoon is expected to strengthen around July 8. The IMD has already issued a yellow alert till Wednesday. The maximum temperature rose from 35.7deg Celsius on Saturday to 37.9degC on Sunday, 3.5degC above normal. The minimum temperature fell from 27.1degC on Saturday to 24.8degC on Sunday, 1.8degC below normal. In the next three days, the maximum temperature will remain between 35degC and 38degC while the minimum temperature will remain between 24degC and 25degC....
