India, Aug. 26 -- The fallout between Bigg Boss 13 former couple Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana escalated on Tuesday, after Himanshi warned she would share evidence of alleged violence and a dispute over religion if Asim continued to attack her. The controversy began after Himanshi discussed their relationship on Paras Chhabra's podcast. The couple started dating on the reality show in 2019 and announced their breakup on December 6, 2023, after nearly four years together, citing differences in religious beliefs. In the podcast from August 14, Himanshi said she would not call it conversion, but claimed Asim spoke to her about his religion and wanted her to understand and accept it. She said she felt she was "betraying" her faith and could not accept it. On Monday, Asim denied ever asking her to change her religion, calling it a "deeply sensitive subject". He also claimed on X that Himanshi had contacted him in March, three months after their breakup, wanting to reconcile, and said he had screenshots of their conversation.
