India, Sept. 14 -- Bhavya Verma from Haryana's Karnal made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week, walking in Tory Burch's Spring/Summer 2027 show on September 10. The fashion week, being held across New York City, runs till September 15. Bhavya wore a gold chintz acetate dress with layered chokers and a loose ponytail. "So grateful to have made my debut with @toryburch," she wrote on Instagram, thanking her collaborators for making her first show "so special". In a separate post, her modelling agency IGM Models quoted her describing backstage as "the first day at a new school". The young model is a fan of K-dramas and Indian songs. Bhavya's debut comes amid growing international visibility for Indian models. Bhavitha Mandava recently became Chanel's first Indian House Ambassador after opening its Metiers d'Art 2026 show in New York, and made her red-carpet debut at the Venice International Film Festival.
