Mohali, May 12 -- Students of Guru Nanak Mission Public School brought laurels in the Jalandhar District Athletics Championship 2026-27 held at Government Arts and Sports College, Jalandhar. The young athletes showcased outstanding sportsmanship in various track and field events. Among the achievers, Sehajpreet Singh (U-10) secured 2nd position in 60m race and 3rd position in Broad Jump. Baljot Singh (U-12) won 1st position in 60m race, while Simarjeet Kaur (U-12) and Simran Kaur (U-14) both earned 2nd positions in 60m races in their respective categories. In the middle-distance events, Ekam Singh (U-16) bagged 3rd position in and Gurnoor Singh secured 2nd position. Manraj Singh (U-16) achieved 2nd position in High Jump, whereas Reet Arora (U-16) brought pride to the school by winning 1st position in Shot Put.
