Chandigarh, June 1 -- Government Model High School, Sector 50B,Chandigarh has brought laurels to the city by receiving a National-Level Consolation Prize under the TOFEI (Tobacco-Free Educational Institutions) School Challenge: Towards a Tobacco-Free Generation, an initiative of The department of School Education and Literacy (DoSE&L), the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The national award was received by principal Indu Babbar and ToFIE Nodal. Manisha at the National Level Felicitation Programme held in New Delhi. The recognition was conferred for the school's commendable efforts in promoting awareness against tobacco use and creating a healthier,safer and tobacco-free better future for students.
