GMSSS holds creative session for kids
CHANDIGARH, Sept. 1 -- - Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 20-D hosted an interactive session led by the Ignited Young Minds (IYM) team from Panjab University (PU) to prepare students for the upcoming Inspire-Manak Idea Challenge.
The initiative aims to motivate young learners to develop creative, practical solutions for pressing social and environmental issues.
During the event, four physics mentors from Panjab University interacted with around 35 enthusiastic participants.
The session guided students on how to transform everyday observations into feasible scientific projects while fostering problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
The students participated actively by pitching their ideas to tackle local community challenges. The PU delegates evaluated these concepts, collecting promising submissions for further mentoring, refinement, and final selection.
School principal Baljeet Kaur, along with science faculty members Chander Kanta, Shashi Verma, and Karan, commended the Panjab University team for their dedicated effort.
