Mohali, May 14 -- GD Goenka Public School, Mohali organised a meaningful community outreach visit for the students of Class 8 A & B to Discover Ability Special School, Sector 77, under the theme "Breaking the Ice." The initiative aimed to foster empathy, inclusivity and meaningful social connections among students. The visit commenced with an interactive introduction where students engaged in friendly conversations, helping to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. This was followed by a heartwarming exchange of greeting cards specially handcrafted by the students, that strengthened the bond between the students. As a gesture of encouragement and support, students and teachers bought handmade items designed by the students of the special school. This thoughtful gesture , promoted independence and dignity.
