Panchkula, Sept. 23 -- Hansraj Public School, Sector-6 celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with an engaging storytelling and puppet show for the primary school students on September 22. Designed as an experiential learning activity, the programme beautifully blended culture, creativity and meaningful learning. Through an animated narration and colourful puppets, the students were introduced to stories from the life of Ganesha and the values and life lessons associated with him. The presentation highlighted qualities such as wisdom, perseverance, humility, respect for parents, courage and the ability to overcome challenges with determination. The lively puppetry and interactive storytelling kept the young learners engaged while making the messages easy to understand and remember. Jaya Bhardwaj, principal, Hansraj Public School, emphasised that festivals provide valuable opportunities to connect children with India's rich cultural heritage and traditions in ways that are joyful and age-appropriate. She said that when children learn through stories, performance and participation, values become experiences rather than mere words in a textbook.
