Rohtak, Feb. 14 -- Four persons were killed and three sustained injuries after a Mahindra Scorpio rammed into a tree in Sonepat's Gohana area on Friday evening, police said. According to police, the incident took place when seven men aged 25-28 years were returning to Rohtak after attending a marriage function from Bhawar village in Sonepat's Gohana area. The deceased have been identified as Ankush, Deepak and Sahil, all residents of Khidwali village, and Golu from Ghuskani village in Rohtak. As per information, Deepak was driving the SUV when it lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. Golu was married and others were unmarried. Three men- Ankit, Mohit and Sagar were rushed to Bhagat Phool Singh Medical College for Women at Khanpur Kalan, where they are undergoing treatment. A spokesperson of Sonepat police said the accident was so intense that the vehicle was mangled. "Preliminary investigation suggested that the SUV was driven at high speed and the driver lost control over the wheel. The police have reached the spot and an FIR will be registered shortly," the spokesperson said....
