Bathinda, Feb. 28 -- Unidentified assailants shot dead a farm owner and his gardener in Mansa's Sardulgarh town on Friday. The bodies of Jasvir Kumar Kaka, 48, and his gardener, Baldev Singh, 45, were found at the former's farm on Sheller Road around 10 am, said police. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Bhagirath Singh Meena said the victims' families had not pointed suspicion against anyone. "Teams have been formed to identify the culprits. We are working on certain leads," said the SSP. As per information, Jasvir had left his house for his farm with Baldev, a resident of Mirpur village. Both visited the farm daily to irrigate a garden at the farm. A murder case was registered at the Sardulgarh police station.
