Chandigarh, July 8 -- Former MLA Balwinder Singh Laddi switched over from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) along with his supporters on Tuesday. The former Sri Hargobindpur MLA was inducted into the party in the presence of AAP's Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia and state president Aman Arora, according to a party release. Elected to the Punjab assembly on a Congress ticket in 2017, Laddi joined the BJP in December 2021 but returned to the Congress within a few days.
