Chandigarh, Aug. 7 -- Police arrested an alleged drug peddler and recovered 15 grams of heroin (chitta) from his possession near the Sports Complex in Sector 56. The accused, identified as Ashwani alias Ashu,30, a resident of Sector 56, was apprehended by personnel from the Palsora police post, Sector 39. An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act. Police said the accused is already facing two NDPS cases registered against him in 2025....
