Chandigarh, Oct. 12 -- : A day after Rajya Sabha member Vikramjit Sahney's appeal, singer Diljit Dosanjh on Sunday rescheduled his Delhi concert from November 1 to October 30. In a statement, Sahney, who had urged Dosanjh on Saturday to change the date, said the organisers had agreed to reschedule the concert. He had urged the singer to consider the sentiments of families affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh genocide, for whom November 1 remains a painful reminder of the tragedy and the loss of their loved ones. Welcoming the decision, the Rajya Sabha member thanked Dosanjh and the organisers for considering his appeal. "I sincerely thank Diljit Dosanjh for graciously accepting my request. His sensitivity towards the pain of the victims and their families reflects the compassion and responsibility that come with his stature," Sahney said....
