Panchkula, March 3 -- The Chandimandir police booked an unidentified driver following a hit-and-run accident on Nada Sahib flyover. The victim, identified as Gagan, a resident of Dera Bassi, was returning home from his workplace, a mobile repair shop in Sector 22, Chandigarh, on February 28. He was riding his two-wheeler when a speeding car, reportedly travelling on the wrong side of the road, struck him and ran over him. He sustained serious injuries and was referred to the PGI where he was declared dead on arrival. Gagan is survived by his wife, Kajal, and their two-year-old son. Two fatal hit-and-run accidents were reported in Panchkula in the last two months. htc...
