Jalandhar, March 18 -- Young stars of Delhi Public School took the center stage as students from Class nursery to Class 2 celebrated annual day, themed 'KINESIS: Mission Movement on March 15, 2026. The vibrant event showcased how movement and sports build a strong, and happy mind in life. Entrepreneur Inderjit Singh Paintal graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was also graced by distinguished dignitaries including Col. Vasudha Thakur, Col. A. K. Maini, director Vinod Sharma with school principal Ritu Kaul, along with valued parents, whose presence made the occasion even more memorable. The event commenced with a formal welcome to the dignitaries, who were honoured with the presentation of green plants as a token of respect and goodwill. Students then spotlighted the school's annual report, sharing a year packed with achievements and enriching experiences. After this, a speech, explaining how "Kinesis" - the power of movement, fuels daily energy, play, and sports. This was followed by the ceremonial torch lighting by the chief guest, which was passed among the dignitaries. The chief guest then declared the event open, inspiring all to embrace the mission of movement and young skaters initiated the string of performances with a synchronized showcase of coordination on wheels. Bursting with agility nursery students dashed through super mario hurdle race, LKG dancers shook things up with zumba zest. Whereas, class UKG kids flipped and twisted in a stunning gymnastic display with grace galaxy. Class one students cheered the nation's love for hockey in hai dil mera; they also presented a show of calisthenics with strength squad, whereas, Class 2 students kicked high in martial mischief, a taekwondo blast of discipline and speed. The event reached its thrilling climax with cricket-ek jazbaa, a spirited performance by class two that celebrated the passion of cricket and served as the perfect grand finale. Chief guest Inderjit Singh congratulated the management, teachers and parents for the vibrant celebration and appreciated the confidence displayed by the students.
