Delhi LG visits Plaksha varsity
Mohali, June 7 -- Delhi lieutenant governor Taranjeet Singh Sandhu visited Plaksha University on Saturday, addressing over 380 high school students attending the institution's summer programme YTS+ and meeting its senior leadership. During a fireside chat, Sandhu, a former Indian Foreign Service officer with over three decades in diplomacy, urged students to pursue genuine interests, reduce screen dependence and engage with real-world challenges.
Sandhu also held discussions with founding community members Karan Gilhotra and Vishal Tulsiyan, along with senior faculty, on the university's academic vision and research initiatives. The LG also paid a courtesy call on Gulab Chand Kataria, governor of Punjab and UT administrator, at Punjab Lok Bhavan.
During the meeting, the two leaders held a wide-ranging and constructive discussion on issues concerning Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, and matters of national importance. htc...
