Chandigarh, Aug. 27 -- The students of DC Montessori Senior Secondary (Smart) School Chandigarh added yet another feather to the school's cap by showcasing their exceptional talent at Meraki - the literature fest 2026, organised by St Soldier's School. Competing against 21 schools from Chandigarh and Panchkula, our young achievers demonstrated remarkable creativity, confidence, teamwork and a commendable competitive spirit across various events. Vihan Sehgal and Anaya Upadhyay secured the first position in Verse Alive - poetry in motion. Jeevika Tanwar of Class 8 clinched the second position in Book Tale - sell the story. Adding to the accolades, Richa Verma and Trishala Thakur secured the third position in The Daily Rhyme - poetry writing, while the team of Bhavya Sharma, Ridhima, Falak Johar and Divanshu Sharma bagged the third position in Ad It Up - the advertisement challenge, displaying their creativity, originality and teamwork. This testament to the dedication, perseverance and collective efforts of the students and mentors, is the first runner-up trophy, awarded to DC Montessori Senior Secondary (Smart) School in recognition of its outstanding overall performance across the various competitions.
