Panchkula, Sept. 16 -- DC Model Senior Secondary School, in association with MUBI Associates, organised an informative awareness session on 'Cyber/Digital Frauds: Awareness and Prevention.' The session was conducted by Mukesh Bhandari, Ex-DGM, ICICI Bank, who has 31 years of rich experience in the banking sector. The session aimed to make everyone aware of the growing threat of cyber frauds and the simple steps that can help prevent them. Bhandari explained different types of online frauds, including fake calls, messages, links, OTP scams and other common ways used by fraudsters. He also shared practical tips on how to stay alert while using mobile phones, banking apps, social media and digital payment platforms. The session was highly informative, practical and engaging. It helped the participants understand that a little care and awareness can save them from major financial and digital risks. Managing director Bharat B Gupta was delighted with the session and appreciated the efforts taken to spread awareness about digital safety.
