Panchkula, July 23 -- DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula proudly hosted the inter-school competition "Frozen Moments: Living History" on July 18th, 2026. The event was organised by the Social Science Department under the guidance of Jyotsana Bakshi. The programme began with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony and DAV Gaan. The competition aimed to inspire students to explore historical personalities while enhancing their confidence, communication skills and creativity through role enactment. Each participating school was represented by two students, who brought history to life with remarkable performances. The participants were judged by prof Aprajita and Anju Ratra on content, expression, creativity and confidence. Result highlights were, 1st position was secured by Anwita - Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula; 2nd by Maurvi Goyal - DAV Sr Sec Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula and 3rd byNavya C Laggarwal - DAV Public School, Sector 7, Chandigarh.
