Mohali, Aug. 11 -- A capacity building programme on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023 was organised at DAV Public Sr Sec School on August 8. The session was conducted by resource persons Poonam Sharma, principal, Sri Sukhmani International School, Dera Bassi, and Malika Kapoor, principal, The Millennium School, Mohali. The programme familiarised teachers with the key provisions of NCFSE 2023, with emphasis on competency-based, experiential and learner-centred learning, multidisciplinary education, holistic development and competency-based assessment. Teachers reflected on innovative classroom practices, the integration of skills and values, and the changing role of teachers as facilitators of learning. The interactive and enriching session provided valuable insights into the effective implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCFSE 2023.
