DAV Model School marks World Population Day
Panchkula, July 14 -- With the constant encouragement and inspiring guidance of principal, Ritu Dilbagi, DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula observed World Population Day with great enthusiasm and commitment. Her visionary leadership continues to inspire students to become socially responsible, environmentally conscious and compassionate citizens through meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
The celebration featured a variety of educational and creative activities designed to raise awareness about population growth, sustainable development and the importance of preserving our planet for future generations.
Students of Classes 3 to 5 participated in a Poster Making Activity on the theme of World Population Day under the guidance of their class teachers and head of department (arts), Anjali Awal. Classes 6 to 7 presented a powerful skit on the theme "The Earth's Cry - The Impact of Overpopulation" under the guidance of Aarti and Tammana. Students from Classes 3 to 12 delivered an energetic and captivating dance performance highlighting the importance of protecting our planet and promoting sustainable living under the guidance of Vijay (Dance Teacher).
Students of Classes 9 to 11 (Commerce, Medical & Arts) attended an informative PowerPoint Presentation on the historical significance and global relevance of World Population Day, presented by Saket. Class 11 students creatively designed an informative Bulletin Board on World Population Day under the guidance of Jyotsna, displaying impactful facts, slogans and awareness messages that inspired the entire school community....
