Amritsar, Aug. 24 -- Two days after a grenade attack on a house in Jatta village, the Amritsar Rural Police have arrested the mother of gangster-turned-terrorist Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Passia. SSP Rural Kanwalpreet Singh Chahal confirmed Bhupinder Kaur's arrest in connection with the case. On Thursday night, two motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly hurled two hand grenades at a house in Jatta village, leaving three family members injured.Police suspect the attack, which also left the house and a car damaged, was executed at the behest of Passia over a personal rivalry with Jaspal Singh, the complainant.
