CO, Major, soldiers booked after assault on cops in Kishtwar
Jammu, June 26 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police registered an FIR against several army personnel, including the commanding officer of the 17 Rashtriya Rifles, a Major, a Naib Subedar, and 30-40 unidentified soldiers.
The case stems from an incident at Atholi police station in Kishtwar district on Wednesday. According to police, the dispute began when a police team escorting the district commissioner stopped and seized a private vehicle driven by an army official during a public outreach programme.
