Chandigarh, April 18 -- Night temperatures in Chandigarh rose above 20degC for the first time this season on Friday as the city experienced cloudy weather, according to the India Meteorological Department.The minimum temperature increased from 16degC on Thursday to 20.2degC on Friday, though it remained 1degC below normal. The maximum temperature dropped from 38.1degC to 36.7degC, which is still 1.4degC above normal. Cloudy conditions are expected to persist on Saturday due to the influence of a Western Disturbance (WD), but rainfall is unlikely because of prevailing anticyclonic conditions over the region. However, temperatures may continue to fluctuate under cloud cover. Over the next three days, the maximum temperature is likely to hover between 38degC and 39degC, while the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 21degC and 22degC....
