Panchkula, July 1 -- A two-day capacity building workshop for science teachers of the Panchkula cluster, HR Zone-A, for teachers teaching Classes 3 to 10 was conducted at Chaman Lal Dav Senior Public School Sector 11 Panchkula on June 29 and June 30, 2026. It was organised under the aegis of DAV centre for academic excellence (DAVCAE) and DAV college managing committee (DAVCMC) New DelhI. Jaya Bhardwaj, regional assistant and cluster head, appreciated the teachers' commitment to continuous professional development and encouraged them to embrace emerging technologies in science education. The workshop was inaugurated by the host principal. Mamta Goel, who emphasised the importance of innovative pedagogical practices, critical thinking and inquiry-based learning. The sessions were conducted by the master trainers, Tripti and Seema Bhatia from DAV Public School, Surajpur, and Upasana from Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, Panchkula. The workshop covered competency-based education, effective lesson planning, learner-centred teaching, activity-based learning, classroom management, assessment strategies and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning.
