Chandigarh, July 8 -- CL Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7-B, celebrated Van Mahotsav Week and a vibrant 'Mango Mela' from July 1 to July 7, 2026. Students from Classes 1 to 10 enthusiastically participated in various activities, which included creating innovative objects from waste, writing essays and poems, and designing awareness posters, while kindergarteners captivated theaudience with special eco-themed performances. The event concluded with an exotic display of mango varieties in the presence of chief guestMaheshinder Singh Sidhu (area councillor, Sector 7) and special guest NK Jhingan (secretary,environment society Chandigarh), who both joined the students in planting saplings and taking a green pledge.
