Chandigarh, Aug. 12 -- In a deeply significant and emotional moment for the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan family, Bhavan Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh, was formally named Bhavan's RK Saboo Vidyalaya on Tuesday, honouring the life, vision and enduring contribution of RK Saboo. The historic naming took place on his 92nd birthday, making the occasion deeply personal and poignant- a fitting tribute as the Bhavan family came together to celebrate his remarkable life by giving the institution his name. The ceremony was attended by RK Saboo and Usha Saboo, chairman, Anirudh Tewari, vice chairman Yashovardhan Saboo, Jagesh Khaitan, vice chairman and treasurer, secretary Madhukar Malhotra, director education- cum-senior principal, Vineeta Arora, members of the Saboo family, members of the Kendra Committee and other distinguished guests. The new name is more than an identity for the institution.
