BSF jawan found unconscious after killing woman, booked
Dehradun, July 17 -- A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan has been booked on charges of murdering a 40-year-old woman after she was found dead at a homestay in Dehradun's Doiwala on Wednesday. The accused was also found unconscious at the spot after allegedly consuming poison and is undergoing treatment at Doon Hospital, police said.
According to police, the incident came to light after the accused's wife approached Clement Town police station and informed them that her husband had shared his live locationand told her over the phone that he has killed a woman with whom he was allegedly in a relationship before consuming poison.
SSP Dehradun Pramendra Dobhal said the police reached The Birize homestay near Mianwala Chowk, where they found the accused, Parmendra Negi, 38, unconscious inside a room and a woman lying dead. Negi was rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to Doon Hospital. The deceased was identified as Aarti Bisht, 40, a resident of Gular Ghati, Nakraunda in Dehradun.
He said during the preliminary investigation, police found that Negi, a BSF personnel currently on leave, had allegedly been in a relationship with Bisht for some time....
