Mohali, April 22 -- Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, organised a special educational tour to Delhi for the students of Classes 10th and 12th. During this trip, students visited Rashtrapati Bhavan and Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, which proved to be a memorable confluence of education and culture. The students witnessed India's historical monuments and magnificent architectural marvels up close. At Rashtrapati Bhavan, they learned about the history of the country's highest official residence, its functioning, and the significant halls and conference rooms where major national decisions are made. To make the visit even more engaging, several activities were conducted. Following the tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, a quiz competition based on the Indian constitution and history was held among the students. Later, at Akshardham, students captured the stunning architecture in their cameras and memories, while also discussing the moral values and Indian heritage they learned about at the temple. Appreciating the students, school president Manav Singla said that such educational tours are essential for the holistic development of students. He stated, "a visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan and Akshardham not only connects students with our rich history but also instills values like humility, gratitude, and staying grounded in life. Our goal is to present education practically rather than limiting it to books." The serene and spiritual atmosphere of Akshardham left a deep impact on the students' minds. Overall, the tour was a perfect blend of history, culture, and life lessons....
