Mohali, Sept. 22 -- Recognising the contribution of teachers to the field of education and their significant role in the holistic development of young minds, teachers and coordinators of Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, were honoured with the Nation Builders Award by the Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown. The felicitation ceremony was organised by the Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown to acknowledge and appreciate the vital role played by teachers in promoting education, literacy and nation-building. The educators honoured on the occasion included Monika Singh, primary school coordinator; Deepu Malik, middle school coordinator; Muktesh Kumar, senior school coordinator; Jyotsna Mukherjee, staff representative; and Priyanka Kaushal, PGT and head of the english department. The event commenced with a captivating welcome song and traditional dance performance by the students, which added to the cheerful and celebratory atmosphere. A brief discussion on teacher-student relationship and modern education was also organised, focusing on emerging challenges in the education sector and possible solutions.
