Kurali, Aug. 26 -- The NCC army wing cadets of Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, in collaboration with 26 Punjab Battalion NCC, Mohali, organised a meaningful and inspiring tree plantation drive on the school campus. The primary objective of the campaign was to create environmental awareness among students and contribute towards making the planet greener and healthier. On the occasion, school president Manav Singla, Havildar Lakhbir Singh, andcaretaker officer (CTO)/ associate NCC officer (ANO) Anku Yadav were specially present. To make the campaign more impactful, the cadets also organised an awareness march wearing green ribbons and raised slogans highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. They also took a pledge to protect nature and contribute towards a greener environment. The cadets also prepared and displayed attractive posters highlighting the importance of trees and environmental protection. Sharing his views on the occasion, Singla said that trees are the roots of a healthy tomorrow. Planting a tree today is a promise to the future....
