Panchkula/Rohtak, Sept. 10 -- A 30-year-old brain dead woman gave the lease of life to six patients, on Wednesday. The woman identified as Sanju Gujjar, from Rajasthan, wife of an army officer was declared dead at Command Hospital, Chandimandir Cantonment, Panchkula. According to the health officials, two kidneys, the liver, the heart and two corneas were allocated to patients at different hospitals. One kidney was rushed to Pt BD Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, for a patient awaiting transplant. A green corridor was arranged so the organ could be transported quickly from Chandimandir to Rohtak.
