Brain-dead teen gives new lease of life to six
Rohtak, May 25 -- The organs of a 14-year-old Jhajjar boy, who was declared brain-dead after an accident, has given second lease of life to six patients.
As per the doctors the boy had suffered critical head injuries in a road accident and was admitted at PGIMS Rohtak on May 20 and was declared brain-dead on May 22.
Hospital authorities said the two kidneys were transplanted into patients at PGIMS Rohtak, while the corneas would help restore eyesight to two visually impaired persons.
The liver was transported to a Delhi hospital for 2 transplantations.htc...
