Chandigarh, March 26 -- A local court has added charges for culpable homicide in a case registered against Ishan Shankar Roy who had allegedly mowed down constable Anand Dev outside the UT police headquarters in Sector 8 on May 11, 2025. Earlier Section 106 (death by negligence) of the BNS was added after the victim had died. However, the court of additional sessions judge Ashwani Sharma observed that after leaving the injured at the spot, the driver of the offending vehicle fled away.
