BJP vows towipe out Punjab's drug menace in 2 yrs
Chandigarh, Sept. 12 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its "Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra" campaign on Friday, promising to completely eradicate Punjab's drug menace within two years if elected to power in the 2027 assembly elections.
Unveiling the initiative under the slogan "Bhajpa Da Naara, Nasha Mukauna Saara," Punjab BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon announced a massive anti-drug mass movement. The 13-day statewide campaign will begin on September 18, with BJP national leader Nitin Nabin flagging off the first leg from Pathankot.
Four distinct routes will cover nearly 4,000 kilometres, traversing all 117 assembly constituencies to target the ruling AAP government over governance failures and border-state narco-terrorism.P2...
