Bihar: Nitish's son, 31 others take oath
Patna, May 8 -- The sons of three former chief ministers were part of the 32 ministers who took oath on Thursday at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, completing the long-awaited cabinet expansion of the Samrat Choudhary-led government in Bihar. Nishant Kumar, son of former chief minister Nitish Kumar, was given the charge of the health department.
Of the ones who took oath, 15 were from the Bharatiya Janata Party, 13 from the Janata Dal (United), two from the Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas and one each from Hindustan Awam Morcha-Secular and Rashtriya Lok Manch.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, BJP chief Nitin Nabin, Nitish Kumar, and other NDA leaders were present at the event.P11...
