Bhavan Vidyalaya organises trip to Singapore and Malaysia
Panchkula, Oct. 7 -- Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula organised an educational trip to Singapore and Malaysia from 24 September to 2 October, providing students with valuable exposure to international education, culture, technology, industry and global perspectives.
A group of 38 students from classes 6 to 12, led by Gulshan Kaur, principal, and accompanied by four chaperones- Neeraj Khurana, Gurbir Kaur, Shagun and Satyawan- undertook this nine-day educational journey. The trip was coordinated by Sonia Arora, head of global programmes, with the objective of broadening students' horizons and promoting experiential learning.
Ambule and participated in an engaging session on India-Singapore relations, diplomacy, sustainability, peace and the role of youth in global affairs. The students also visited the
Singapore science centre, marina bay sands, the iconic Merlion and the National University of Singapore, gaining valuable insights into science, technology, architecture and higher education. The Singapore itinerary further included visits to gardens by the bay, Sentosa Island and madame tussauds, offering students an opportunity to experience Singapore's remarkable blend of innovation, culture, tourism and sustainable urban development. In Malaysia, the students explored iconic landmarks including the petronas twin towers, batu caves and genting highlands, gaining an appreciation of the country architectural, cultural and geographical diversity....
