Chandigarh, Oct. 7 -- The Pre-Primary Wing of Bhavan's R.K. Saboo Vidyalaya celebrated the spirit of compassion, generosity and social responsibility through a special "Joy of Giving" initiative, encouraging young learners to understand the importance of sharing, caring and extending kindness to those in need. The initiative featured a special assembly comprising a meaningful rhyme, two thoughtfully presented skits and a lively dance performance. The first skit highlighted the importance of sharing food, while the second sensitised students towards donation and the responsibility of helping those who are less privileged. The occasion was graced by Mr. Neeraj Kaura, Secretary, Maharishi Dayanand Bal Ashram NGO, Mohali, who interacted with the young learners and shared an inspiring message on gratitude, empathy and the joy of giving. He encouraged the children to recognise the privileges they enjoy such as a loving family, quality education and a nurturing school environment and to understand their responsibility towards those who may not have access to the same opportunities. As part of the initiative, students and their families came forward wholeheartedly to contribute gently used clothes, pulses and stationery items. The collected items were handed over to Maharishi Dayanand Bal Ashram NGO, Mohali....
