Bengaluru teen brings global recognition to India through AI and robotics
India, July 19 -- Born in Chandigarh and now studying in Bengaluru, 15-year-old Chirag Anand has emerged as one of India's promising young innovators through his work in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and biomedical engineering.
Between the ages of 13 and 15, he represented India at leading international STEM competitions, winning the Codeavour 5.0 International Championship in Dubai and receiving the prestigious Rajeev Motwani Fellowship.
He later became the national champion at the World Robot Olympiad India 2025 and won a bronze medal while representing the country at the World Robot Olympiad International Championship in Singapore. Chirag has developed several AI-powered innovations, including systems for Parkinson's disease detection, an EMG-controlled prosthetic arm, and NeuroSynk, an assistive platform designed for individuals with severe motor disabilities.
Alongside these accomplishments, he scored 97.2% in the ICSE Class-X board examination, balancing academic excellence with scientific innovation at a young age. HTC...
