Chandigarh, Aug. 4 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested the Chowki incharge of Bapu Dham Colony in Sector 26 and an assistant sub inspector posted there for accepting a bribe of Rs.2.5 lakh on Monday evening. The duo was identified as sub-inspector Suresh Kumar and ASI Bhagat Singh.A Bapu Dham Colony resident had complained to the CBI that the two sought a bribe from him as he was accused in a cheating case registered under the Sector 26 police station area.
