India, Sept. 2 -- Just five months after their hush-hush wedding, and nearly four years of dating, rapper Badshah and Punjabi actor Isha Rikhi have called time on their marriage. The two confirmed their separation on August 31, ending weeks of speculation fuelled by cryptic social-media posts from Isha. Badshah wrote, "I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship." Isha shared a similar note (inset above). Speculation about trouble in their marriage began in July after Isha shared a montage featuring the couple with the caption, "Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope," along with heartbreak and folded-hands emojis. She had publicly confirmed their marriage only a month earlier, during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session in June.
