India, Sept. 9 -- Actor Nora Fatehi is facing a Rs.3 crore civil defamation suit after Ahmedabad-based aviation company Dunes Aviation accused her of damaging its reputation by describing one of its charter aircraft as a "toy" and a "Lego airplane" in social media posts. The suit has been filed in a Gandhinagar (Gujarat) court, which is scheduled to hear the matter on September 25. Dunes Aviation has alleged that Fatehi's "derogatory and reckless" comments led to cancellations and a 15-20% decline in bookings. According to the company, Fatehi and her team travelled aboard its Cessna Citation CJ2 from Mumbai to Jaipur in December 2025. During the journey, she allegedly recorded videos describing the aircraft as "miniature", a "toy" and a "Lego airplane", which were subsequently posted on Insta. The aviation firm has argued that the remarks were made without any technical basis and created doubts about the aircraft's safety and quality. It has maintained that the aircraft was DGCA-certified, airworthy and being operated legally under a valid Non-Scheduled Operator's Permit.
