Jalandhar, Aug. 1 -- The main shooter who opened fire at a local Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader in November last year has been arrested, police said on Friday. A Turkey-made Glock pistol and eight live cartridges were also recovered from the accused, identified as Harvinderpal Singh, alias Indu, a resident of Talwandi Madho in Jalandhar district. SP Harinder Singh Gill said on November 1, 2025, Harvinderpal, along with an accomplice, opened fire at AAP leader Harjinder Singh on the directions of foreign-based gangster Jagdeep Singh.
