BATHINDA, Sept. 17 -- : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal on Wednesday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of misgovernance and failing to curb easily accessible narcotics. Addressing a rally at Badhni Kalan village in Moga, Sukhbir said in a recent incident, a resident of a Sangrur village was reportedly manhandled by the police for showing a black flag to chief minister Bhagwant Mann outside the public meeting event. He expressed concern over two incidents of desecration of Dr BR Ambedkar's statue within a month. He said that the AAP government enacted the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar law, which "goes against Sikh traditions, and is delaying the implementation of the Akal Takht jathedar's directives to amend it".
