Asim takes a dig at ex Himanshi over conversion claims: Don't use religion as a weapon

ctor Asim Riaz has refuted claims made by his ex-partner, actor Himanshi Khurana, regarding faith and religious differences in their past relationship, calling it a "deeply personal subject".
When asked about reports that she had considered converting to another religion while she was dating Asim, Himanshi had recently revealed on actor Paras Chhabra's podcast, "Conversion nahi bolungi, par woh apne religion ki achhi baatein bata rahe the... Woh chahte the ki main achha samajhkar accept karu, lekin mujhe manzoor nahi tha."
Asim responded to this with a strongly worded note on Instagram on Sunday (inset above), writing, "Please, don't use religion as a weapon. It's a deeply sensitive subject, and turning something so personal into a reason for people to hate me is immature and only shows how low you're willing to go for attention." He didn't stop there and took a dig at Paras without naming him: "I'd suggest spending a little less time discussing other people's lives and a little more time in the gym."
He later followed it up with posts on X, claiming that Himanshi had reached out to him months after their breakup, wanting to give their relationship another chance.
Asim, 33, and Himanshi, 34, had met on the reality TV show Bigg Boss 13 in 2019. The couple had dated for nearly four years before announcing their breakup in December 2023. HTC...
