Arya Yuva Samaj organises drug awareness event at DAV 8
Panchkula, May 22 -- In a powerful and socially significant initiative aimed at building a drug-free India, Arya Yuva Samaj organised a grand awareness programme titled "No Nasha Nation - Empowering Youth Through Vedic Wisdom" at DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, educators, Arya Samaj members, dignitaries and community representatives who collectively pledged to eradicate the menace of drug abuse from society.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting followed by the soulful rendition of the DAV Gaan and a floral welcome of distinguished guests. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic fervour and spiritual energy as students presented Vedic bhajans and mantra uchcharan, beautifully reflecting the timeless values of Indian culture and discipline.
A special video presentation on the "No Nasha Nation" campaign highlighted the growing concern of substance abuse among youth and emphasized the urgent need for awareness, prevention and collective action.
The campaign, spearheaded nationally by Yogi Suri, National president, Arya Yuva Samaj, has emerged as a transformative social movement across DAV institutions and Arya Samaj platforms. The highlight of the event was the visionary address by VK Chopra, director, Public Schools, DAVCMC, New Delhi, who inspired students to channelise their energy towards purposeful living, discipline and nation-building. He stressed that the youth of today must become torchbearers of a healthy and value-based India.
Addressing the gathering, justice Pritam Pal, vice president, DAVCMC, blessed the initiative and appreciated the efforts of Arya Yuva Samaj and DAV institutions.
